From 3 to 5 June, the LIFE GoProForMED project took part in the LIFE Platform Meeting held in Brașov (Romania), focused on the theme “LIFE and European Forests Restoration.” The event was a valuable opportunity to exchange views on EU policies for forest restoration and resilience, through the sharing of results from LIFE projects and other European programmes.
The meeting, co-organised by CINEA and the Directorate-General for Environment (DG ENV), brought together over 90 participants from 19 countries, representing 38 LIFE projects (including GoProForMED!), as well as Horizon and Interreg initiatives, forest experts, researchers, NGOs, and forest authorities.
